Your responsibilIties

  • Tender, negotiation and procurement of direct materials and services
  • Identification and realisation of potential cost savings in the goods categories under management
  • Selection and evaluation of global suppliers
  • Management of negotiations as well as preparation and conclusion of contracts in an international environment
  • Improvement of supplier quality, adherence to delivery dates and delivery time period
  • Point of contact for internal and external escalations regarding delivery difficulties
  • Execution of internal and external cross-department projects
  • Collaboration, implementation, development and realisation of strategic purchasing concepts
  • Development and implementation of strategies for different categories of goods
  • Independent execution and conclusion of annual pricing negotiations

Your Qualifications

  • Completed qualifications in Economics or similar, ideally with a technical background or business training with relevant further qualifications
  • Experience in production or manufacturing is advantageous
  • Independent, solution-oriented way of working
  • Outstanding engagement and high resilience
  • Professionalism when managing external partners and service providers
  • Self-evident handling of MS Office, especially Excel
  • Very good German and English knowledge in spoken and written
