We are looking for a bright new colleague to join our international Marketing team as Marketing Engineer web Tracking. Would you like to drive our data tracking and insights across multiple channels?
Your role:
- Our mission is to open up new possibilities to our stakeholders with mentoring, training, and technical implementation of new ideas. We help them optimize their marketing efforts, have a clear sight of new opportunities, create deeper engagement, and improve online conversions.
- Development and maintenance of our marketing and web analytics tool stack across all channels (websites, social media, CRM, etc.), according to best practices and legal requirements.
- Data collection and distribution in a server-side tracking environment (GTM server)
- Data utilization in first-party and third-party systems (Marketing Platforms, CDP, first-party tools)
Your skills & experience:
- Mid-level skills JavaScript
- Passion to learn new scripting and markup languages (Python, shell, SQL, HCL, YAML) and technical concepts, like REST APIs, data structures, and cloud infrastructure is a must
- Completed studies, comparable training, or equivalent professional experience in web engineering, digital marketing, or data analytics
- Hands-on experience with common tracking, analytics, and BI tools is a great plus (e.g. Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, GTM Server, Data Studio)
- We are constantly incorporating new technologies. You’ll need some frustration tolerance if they don’t work as intended from the start.
- Conceptual mindset combined with business-thinking, hands-on mentality, organizational skills, and pragmatism.
- Fluent in English. German is a plus.
