Country manager USa (M/f/D)

Full-time position, available immediately
(Location: 80% Cologne / 20% Miami)


  • Lead the USA / CAN business and establish Picanova Group / Best Canvas Inc. as the market leader in this competitive market environment
  • Manage all tasks within the region, including taking responsibility for profit, revenue, quality targets and eventually recruitment
  • Defining brand, marketing and product strategies, in cooperation with teams in our central marketing, product development and operations
  • Maximize brand and marketing growth opportunities across all market segments
  • Further development and coordination of our marketplace business (e.g. Amazon)
  • Support in strategic partnerships to grow the business
  • Ensure flawless execution and maximum effectiveness of market activities
  • Ensure effective pricing strategies are set and aligned across value chain


  • In-depth experience in e-commerce and digital marketing required
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience as country manager in e-commerce environment
  • A university degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields
  • Strong knowledge of North American Consumer Market
  • Regional expertise expected: possess a deep understanding of the market’s local politics to enforce laws and regulations in our business and company workflows / processes
  • Willing to travel regularly to North America
  • Exceptional ability to think conceptually and high levels of responsibility, readiness, initiative and independence
  • Hands-on mentality and an independent, results-orientated working style
  • Exceptionally strong in organisation and communication
  • Very good knowledge of spoken and written English language skills
