(JUnior*) Project manager Operations & Process Control USa (M/f/D)

Full-time position, available immediately
(Location: 50% Cologne / 50% Miami)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Independent support of the Miami site director by implementing solution- and practice-oriented projects, e.g. introducing an ERP system for production and stock management.
  • Ensuring oversight of all operational and production processes, e.g. machine maintenance and supporting the launch of new products and their smooth integration into existing infrastructure.
  • Independent execution of implementation tests of potential new materials with corresponding evaluation/analysis.
  • Quality assurance and control, as well as management and continual analysis of the internal and external service level at the product level in the manufacturing environment.
  • Point of contact between production sites by providing regular reports on progress and solutions.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Successfully completed degree in a relevant discipline (business administration, engineering, operations or similar) or a comparable qualification.
  • At least one year's work experience based in the USA.
  • At least two years of experience in the management of complex projects in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ready to alternate between working for two weeks in Miami and two weeks in Cologne.
  • Experience in the areas of printing, e-commerce and online trading is advantageous.
  • Exceptional ability to think conceptually and high levels of responsibility, readiness, initiative and independence.
  • Hands-on mentality and an independent, results-orientated working style.
  • Exceptionally strong in organisation, implementation and communication.
  • Very good knowledge of spoken and written German and English language skills.
